It’s safe to say there is never a dull moment when you’re with this sibling group of six. There is always lots of energy, hugs, smiles and laughter, and their bond is very strong.
Da’Shawn is described as the caretaker of the group.
Right now these children are split up in different foster homes but he’s hoping they will all be adopted together. “So we can see each other, cause we’re a family,” he said.
“He’s probably what I would call the caretaker of the group. He kind of worries about what’s going on with them,” explained Linton.
Next in line is 7-year-old Xravia.
She is going into the second grade and enjoys school very much. “I make straight A’s.”
I asked her what she wants to be when she grows up. “A police girl,” she exclaimed!
In the middle is 6-year-old Ny’Tliea.
“I like to paint. I like eating nachos. I like eating candy a lot.” And she enjoys learning new things. “It’s exciting and fun!”
Next we introduce you to 5-year-old Tre’Drian who has a smile that will melt your heart.
“He’s a sweet little boy and he’s a little calmer than the others. He’s very lovable,” said Linton.
The two youngest brothers are very close, only a year apart and share the same birthday.
You give him a book and he will sit down and be calm and read and read and read.”
And last is little 18-month-old D’Cameron who will need the most attention. He is several months delayed.
“We’ve seen lots of milestones just within the past year with a lot of help and resources,” said Linton.
Six individual personalities all coming together as one, waiting for a forever family.
“They are a great group of kids and anybody who gets them will be blessed beyond measure.”
