Officials with several age-ncies conducted a search of the Tyler Jet Center, and surrounding area at Tyler Poun-ds Regional Airport, after a bomb threat was received Friday morning.

Tyler Fire Marshal Paul Findley said a thorough sear-ch was conducted, but no devices were found and the investigation is ongoing.

Tyler Police Training Officer Doyle Lynch said the Tyler Fire Department handled the search and police officers assigned to the airport assisted by keeping the area contained.

Radio traffic indicated one quadrant of the airport was closed, and Susan Guthrie, the city of Tyler spokesperson, said the FBI, TSA and U.S. Air Marshals responded to the scene.

“A vendor (Tyler Jet Center) received a call this morning indicating a bomb threat. So because of that, everyone was called to the location,” she said.

There were no commercial flight delays reported, officials said.
