Funded by Americans, but no longer made in U.S., August 5
I recently attended a college graduation ceremony for my grandson. Oh happy day. Now that he is out of college, I will have some money to spend, so I looked at an automobile that was displayed at the graduation site. When I looked at the price sticker I realized how much we owe the Obama administration for the bailout of GM. The sticker told the whole story. Chevrolet Camaro — assembled in Canada, transmission made in France, engine made in Mexico.

Aren’t we happy that Obama bailed out GM so jobs could be preserved in Canada, France and Mexico?
Aren’t we happy that GM still owes us, the American people, over $27 billion?

Aren’t we happy that President Barack Obama says that part of the U.S. tax code doesn’t apply so GM can get a $45 billion annual tax break for the next 25 years?

Aren’t we happy that Obama is now calling for increased taxes on rich people to pay for his generosity?
Increasing taxes on people who make over a million dollars a year won’t pay for what GM owes us.
