Dana Cargile did the art for “Pet Fairy,” whose author is Christie Joy, according to a written release.
“‘Pet Fairy’ is meant for young children to explore, dream and imagine while enjoying beautiful artwork,” the release states. “The author and illustrator hope to reach a young generation and influence them in developing creative thinking. Their audience will experience magical adventures throughout and catch a glimpse of an underlying message about the significance of prayer.
“‘Pet Fairy’ lets the child’s imagination soar,” Ms. Joy said in the release. “It lets them enjoy something that is familiar to them as a puppy and adds a fairytale aspect to his adventures. It also fosters the importance of ending their busy day on their knees in prayer. It is a simple book that has a deep meaning that will engage the child through the poetic sing/song tempo and keep their attention with art work that captures the reading.”
