Tyler's federal employee chapter to meet

Members of The Rose City Chapter of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees will meet at 11 a.m. on Friday at Ryan’s Steakhouse, 5626 S. Broadway Ave., Tyler.
Members will learn about the city of Tyler Parks and Recreation Department, said Nita Wood, public relations director.
Set to speak are Stephanie Rollings, the department’s director, and Heather Bole-stridge, the services co- ordinator.
Ms. Rollings manages a budget of about $5.7 million, supervises a staff of 50 and oversees the maintenance at 26 facilities including cemeteries, city parks and the Rose Garden.
