Longview Police Investigating Man's Death

Longview police are investigating the death of a person found about 1 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings at Eastman Road and Hawkins Parkway.

Longview police spokeswoman Kristie Brian said officers, including crime scene technicians, were on the scene, but had few details.
Ms. Brian did not give an identity on the male body found in the grass between the restaurant’s retaining wall and the road right of way.
Ms. Brian said the crime scene unit is dispatched to such calls where a person is found dead in a public place even if natural causes appear to be how the person died.
