Heat Advisory For Parts Of East Texas
High pressure aloft will begin to slide to the west, and that will shave a degree or two off the temperatures we will see each day. It still will be hot with high temperatures near 103 degrees today, 102 Wednesday and 100 degrees Thursday and Friday.
A heat advisory is in effect through 7 p.m. The heat index will exceed 105 degrees from noon until 7 p.m.
No rain is expected through the weekend. Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be south to southwesterly around 10 mph.
