Sheriff’s Office, Others Investigating Missing Man
The Gregg County Sheriff's Office, along with members of the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Rusk County Sheriff's Office and the Lake Cherokee Patrol were investigating a missing man Tuesday at Lake Cherokee.
They were searching for 44-year-old Kim Grounds of Mount Enterprise, who was visiting family members at the lake.
Grounds was boating with a friend when he went missing, Gregg County investigator Kirk Haddix said.
Circumstances surrounding the disappearance were being investigated.
The Gregg County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday night any additional information about the disappearance would not be available until Wednesday.
