Arrest Warrant Issued For Suspected Killer
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office was continuing the search for a 22-year-old man suspected of killing one woman and kidnapping another female near Brierwood Drive in Coffee City about 10:30 p.m.
Thursday, according to a news release.
The sheriff’s office received a report of gunshots heard on Brierwood Dr-ive. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a deceased victim.
Officials said Jackie Guthrie shot and killed a Henderson County woman and then fled the scene with 19-year-old Tiffany Hurd in a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria with Texas license plate CKP512.
The vehicle has aftermarket wheels and dark-tinted windows, officials said.
Officials said Friday they had been unable to locate the suspect or kidnapped victim.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Guthrie by Henderson County Justice of the Peace Milton Adams.
If anyone comes in contact with this suspect or victim, please notify law enforcement immediately.
This suspect is armed and dangerous and should not be confronted, officials said.
