Tyler ISD Plans To Name Interim Superintendent

The Tyler I.S.D. Board of Trustees intends to name Gary Mooring as Interim Superintendent upon the expected resignation of current Superintendent Dr. Randy Reid, district officials announced today.
Reid recently was named the lone finalist for Keller I.S.D. Superintendent.
However, that district is required to wait 21 days until it officially hires him.
T.I.S.D. will not officially instate Mooring as Interim until that time.
Mooring previously served as Deputy Superintendent and Interim Superintendent for T.I.S.D.
