Shepherd’s Heart Workshop Slated For August
The 15th annual East Texas Baptist Camp meeting will be Monday through Friday at the Canton Civic Center on the First Monday grounds in Canton.
A prayer meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Monday followed by a service at 7 p.m. featuring music by Living Proof, The Rochester Family, The Erwins, The Phillips and preaching by Mark Thrift.
Events on Tuesday begin at 7 a.m. with a men's golf tournament at Indian Oaks Club. A ladies' Bible study will be at Grace Bible Fellowship Baptist, with lunch at Robles and shopping at Terrell Outlet Mall. The prayer meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Center, followed by a service featuring preaching by Ronnie Barefield.
A morning service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Civic Center with Dr. Ed McAbee and Singers. Attendees will have the option to attend Splash Kingdom at 12:30 p.m. A prayer meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Center, followed by preaching by Dr, Joe Arthur.
Attendees can go with a group to tour Cowboy Stadium on Thursday, or attend another ladies' Bible study. A free screening of the movie "Courageous" will be at 2 p.m. at Grace Bible Baptist. Thursday's preaching will be from Mark Thrift.
Friday's family fun day will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Canton City Park. The preaching Friday evening will be presented by Ronnie Barefield.
