More Heat Ahead
Our stubborn summertime pattern looks to hold on for another 24 hours or so before we begin to transition to a better set up for scattered showers and thunderstorms. In the meantime, look for highs in the mid 90s both this afternoon and Friday. By Friday, a small chance for afternoon showers will return to the forecast. These chances will increase as we head into the weekend, along with a slight lowering of afternoon temps. Long-range models still point toward legitimate rainfall potential through the first part of next week.
