Green A Well Qualified Candidate For Smith County Sheriff, July 4
The residents of Smith County, after 36 years with the same sheriff, have an important choice to make for new leadership at the Sheriff’s Department. Recognizing the significance of this election cycle for Smith County sheriff and wanting to have a voice in the local election, I made the choice to cross over and vote in the Republican primary for Chris Green.
Chris Green has served the citizens of Smith County for the past 16 years. He has a history of proactive law enforcement — getting to know the landowners, patrolling the county, getting to know the residents and the patterns of the community. Due to his experience on Smith County roads and lakes, he knows the problems and needs that face our county and is prepared to work on the solutions. Chris’s background in business and law enforcement makes him the perfect candidate to run a $25 million sheriff’s department.
Chris Green is a man of integrity and has chosen to run a clean campaign, even in the face of attacks by his opponent and the organizations that support his opponent. We need a man that will be a sheriff for all the people, every person, not just a selected few.
Please join me on July 31 in the run-off election and vote for Chris Green, the best choice for Smith County Sheriff.
