I’ve lived in Smith County for 25 year, and God willing, this will always be my home. I’ve had a few brushes with the law, but have learned my lesson and matured greatly the last seven years. I see this sheriff’s race as an easy choice. We have a federal guy versus a state guy. Our federal candidate has some investigative credentials in fires and explosives all over the nation. What does that have to do with the problems we face in Smith County? Chris Green is trained in Texas and has dedicated almost 20 years of service to this county. I believe there is no better trained officer in this state than a game warden.
I’ve heard Chris Green speak and watched him perform his duties as a state officer in this county. He knows this county, he knows our people and he knows the issues we face out in the county (illegal drugs and thefts).
Let’s hire a local guy this time and learn from our mistakes with Obama. Vote Chris Green.
