Smith County Alliance supports multiple organizations with its donations of hand-crafted items and other necessities created through its S.I.S.T.E.R.S. (supportive individuals stitching treasures and remembrances to share) group.
Delegates from Smith County who attended were SCMSA President Margie Phillips, TMAA Past President D’Anna Wick, TMAA Recording Secretary Rhonda Reuter, District Director Agnes Ward, SCMSA President-Elect Sandy Stewart, Donna Freeman and Jennifer Ozuna.
The alliance has recently purchased a new building on 2004 Broussard St. and will hold its biannual Book Fair there Oct. 25, 26 and 27. They will also have a garage sale Aug. 16, 17 and 18. Proceeds fund health career scholarships and medical projects.
