Outstanding Youth Recognized In Summer Playground Program
Tyler Parks and Recreation is recognizing outstanding youth in the Summer Playground Program who are proving themselves as leaders and great citizens.
Children selected as "Youth of the Week" are those who generally work well with others, foster friendships, assist counselors at the park sites and demonstrate a willing heart to help with any task.
They also exhibit a great attitude, moral character and solid leadership qualities, according to a statement released by the city.
Each honoree receives a certificate of accomplishment and prizes from generous area businesses.
