Veterinary Science Club Looking For Members
The Smith County Vet Science Club will meet July 10 to recruit new members and a first-year coordinator.

The 4-H Veterinary Science Project is a five-year curriculum for youths interested in veterinary medicine, according to information from the Smith County AgriLife Extension Service.

Participants receive hands-on training and learn skills performed by a veterinarian assistant.

The recruitment meeting will take place at 6 p.m. July 10 in the Smith County AgriLife Extension Office, 1517 W. Front St., Suite 116A.

A leader is needed to coordinate year one activities, the announcement said.
