Most-Wanted Sex Offender Caught In Tyler Monday
Texas Department of Public Safety officers in Tyler captured Sean Michael Price, 27, a Texas 10 Most-Wanted Sex Offender on Monday.
A DPS news release stated that Price was apprehended after an investigation led DPS Criminal Investigations Division agents and Highway Patrol troopers to a Tyler residence, where the suspect was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and probation violation on Monday afternoon.
The release stated Price's last known residence was in Henderson County, and a failure to register as a sex offender warrant was issued by the Gun Barrel City Police Department in April.
Price originally was convicted of rape of a child in Washington state in 2001.
