Hot, Dry This Weekend
The rainy pattern from the first half of the week is being replaced by hot, dry weather, which will last through the weekend and into the first half of next week. High pressure will build across East Texas and drive temperatures into the upper 90s by Monday. Skies will be mostly sunny. Summer officially began Wednesday, and with the season comes increased tropical activity as the oceans warm. An area of disturbed weather that showed up in the northwest Caribbean Tuesday should be slow to develop but could result in a tropical low in the Gulf of Mexico late in the weekend.
