Police Respond To Monday Night Stabbing In Tyler
Tyler police responded to a stabbing in the 200 block of Wells Street shortly after 9 p.m. Monday.
Authorities could not release much information about the incident, but Lt. Rusty Jacks said one victim was taken from the scene with multiple cuts. He said he did not think they were life threatening but could not comment on the severity of the injuries.

According to police scanner traffic, authorities were looking for a grey extended-cab pickup that left the scene headed toward Donnybrook Avenue shortly after the attack occurred.
According to a news release issued by the Tyler Police Department late Monday, the victim was taken by private vehicle to the hospital when authorities received the 911 call. Emergency personnel met the vehicle on Wells Street and took the victim the rest of the way. It was unclear as of press time where exactly the stabbing occurred.
