RAVES: Many thanks to Brittni Barnett and Christopher Vinn for their article about Smith Cemetery in the May 27 paper. The story and photos were well done and captured the spirit of what our family has undertaken.
Due to their journalistic efforts, many people now know about one of Tyler’s historic treasures. Hopefully, the publicity will motivate the city’s history buffs to participate with our family in preserving the cemetery’s rich legacy.
