85 Mph A Bad Idea, June 17
RANT: I read that the Texas Department of Transportation is going to try an 85 mph speed limit between Austin and Seguin.
What are they thinking? Do they not know that the faster we go the more fuel we burn? Do they not know the faster we go the more severe the accidents are?
I don’t know who’s in charge of trying this, but they need to rethink their decision and slow people down, not let them go faster.
