Man Killed In Crash Named
Texas Department of Public Safety officials released the identities of the people involved in a fatal car accident over the weekend on Monday.
Two people were hospitalized after a head-on collision on Farm-to-Market Road 2767, about eight miles west of Kilgore, and one person was killed, according to an accident report.
The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. Saturday.
Lloyd Leroy Webster, 54, of Minden, La., was declared dead at the scene of the accident when his car was struck head on by another car driven by Sandra Reddock, according to the report.
Ms. Reddock's vehicle apparently drifted off the road, the report states, and overcorrected, veering into oncoming traffic and striking Webster's vehicle.
Ms. Reddock is in fair condition at East Texas Medical Center and her passenger, 18-year-old Hailey Moody, is in critical condition. Ms. Moody suffers from head trauma and broken bones, according to the report.
All three injured in the accident were wearing seat belts, the report states.
