Union members, acting exactly like our persistent petulant president, called for Gov. Walker to be recalled, securing one million signatures (true some were Donald Duck, Snow White, etc.) but for the past years the Wisconsin government has been in turmoil.
Well, on June 5, the taxpayers spoke again. Gov. Walker and the conservative lieutenant governor will remain in office. They’ve been able to put Wisconsin on the track to lower taxes and lower debt during all the recall efforts. Now they can continue to do the job they were elected to in 2010. What a change.
A faint glimmer of hope is emitting from Wisconsin. Do you think union members will abide by legislation that goes against their wishes? Do you believe the words “we are broke” will begin to resonate?
