New Peete Elementary Principal To Be Announced On Monday
A principal for Tyler ISD’s Peete Elementary School is expected to be named during a board meeting Monday.
The TISD board of trustees is scheduled to meet at 4:30 p.m. that day in the Dr. Jack L. Davidson Conference Center in the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex, 807 W. Glenwood Blvd.
The board will vote on the administration’s recommendation for the principal position.
Former Principal Freeman Sterling retired this year after 35 years in education.
In addition, several issues are scheduled for discussion. These include a presentation by K12 Insight along with updates about finance/investments/bonds, Response-to-Intervention, technology and Head Start.

The board also is scheduled to elect officers for the coming school year.
