Finnis “Hoop” Cooper
Services for Finnis “Hoop” Cooper, 78, Lindale, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, at St. Mary Baptist Church with the Rev. Kendrick Graves officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co., Tyler.
Mr. Cooper died June 3, 2012, at The Hospice of East Texas.

He was born Feb. 5, 1934, in Smith County and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of St. Mary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Shirley Cooper, of Lindale; sons, Titus Cooper, of Lindale and George Phillip Cooper, of Tyler; daughters, Ava Tennison, of Mesquite, Kasandra Flournoy, of Lindale and Ylonda Bullard, of Glenn Heights; mother, Betrice Cooper, of Lindale; six brothers; five sisters; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
