Woman Believed To Have Been Abducted Arrested When Found
A Henderson woman believed to have been abducted was arrested after she was located Wednesday.

The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division succeeded in locating Kimberly Ann Davis, 39, who was reported missing by family members, according to a news release. The family members had not been able to contact her since May 3 and reported her missing on May 5 after learning that she may be a possible victim of abduction.

According to a news release, Rusk County authorities began an investigation that expanded outside of Texas to Arkansas and Louisiana. She was located unharmed Wednesday in Gregg County. Because she had unrelated active felony narcotic warrants out of Rusk County, she was arrested and transported to Rusk County Justice Center, according to a news release.

As of Thursday, no suspects were identified in the alleged abduction. An investigation will continue pending leads developing that identify possible suspect or suspects in this case.
