UT Health Science Center Annexation To Be Observed Tomorrow
Tyler city leaders plan Wednesday to celebrate the recent voluntary annexation of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler and announce the start of a new communication education program.
Remarks are set for 11 a.m. in the main lobby of the health science center, 11937 U.S. Highway 271.
Mayor Barbara Bass and hospital President Dr. Kirk Calhoun are expected to share details about the new educational venture.
The annexation was initiated by the hospital, officials said.
