Landscape Architect Speaking Today At Tyler Junior College
Award-winning landscape architect Stephen Brainerd will be the keynote speaker today at the annual Texas State Chapter of the Azalea Society of America meeting on the Tyler Junior College campus.
Brainerd’s presentation at 11 a.m. to statewide chapter members in the Center for Earth and Space Science Education facility is titled “Water Wise Garden Design,” organizers said.

The park development superintendent for the city of McKinney, Brainerd is a former president of the national Azalea organization.
An Oklahoma State University graduate in chemistry with a master’s degree in landscape architecture, he has earned numerous landscaping merit awards.
