Garden Tour Set For April 28

Smith County Master Gardener
Get ready for one of the best garden tours yet. Smith County Master Gardeners have really outdone themselves in finding some of the most beautifully designed gardens in Smith County.
You will see a very formal English Garden, some lovely fountains and pools, unique garden art, beautiful gazebos, arbors, and bird baths. Get ideas for your own yard. Learn ways to incorporate all sorts of ‘throw-a-ways’ into really fun yard art. Enjoy lovely water features and ways to disguise unattractive areas.
Thetour is set for April 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 pm. Master gardeners will be at each garden to answer questions so you will have the opportunity to learn about new plants as well as to get good ideas.
Tickets are available at: Smith Co. Extension Office, Brookshire’s on Rice Road, The Potpourri House, or oraney’s. They cost $10 in advance or $12 at the gate.
