Republican Convention
The Henderson County Republican Convention will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at the party's headquarters, 112 N. Palestine St. in Athens.
As a result of the substantial changes to the election calendar in 2012, the party will not be conducting precinct conventions on the evening of the May 29 Primary Election. Instead it will incorporate all party business into the county convention. All attendees will be seated by precinct and will vote their precinct strength. All attendees have the right to seek becoming a state delegate and to bring forth resolutions for consideration by the convention.
The convention will be open to any registered Henderson County voter who signs an oath of affiliation to the Republican Party.
