18-Wheeler Catches Fire On Interstate

An 18-wheeler caught fire Sunday afternoon on Interstate 20 at the 757 Starville exit about 12:15.
An 18-wheeler caught fire Sunday afternoon on Interstate 20 at the 757 Starville exit about 12:15.
The driver said a fuel line to the truck started leaking. He said he pulled over to find the back of his vehicle engulfed in flames. He escaped to safety and watched his truck burn.
Emergency crews on the scene blocked traffic on westbound I-20 for about 30 minutes. Traffic reopened about 1 p.m.
No one was injured.
