Regarding the Tyler Paper’s article on the latest Tyler school district long range plan, TISD has announced long range plans in the past — often. I guess long range is a couple of years, then they must march out another long range plan.

This sounds like the same old scare tactic of “your kids will be held back and not get educated if you don’t send your money to TISD.”

TISD is looking more and more like a welfare case that can’t exist without your tax dollars to spend as they see fi,t with no real improvement in the education of our children. Sorry, folks, but TISD really, really needs your money or they can’t educate your children and grandchildren. So send in your rent and grocery money to fund another new building for TISD.
