Natural Law, Feb. 22
A recent letter referred to “natural law” in regards to the U.S. Constitution. But “we the people of the United States” do not know which law he was referring to. His interpretation of “divine law” and the Scriptures was just that, an interpretation, and not a fact.

Where, in the Preamble or in the Constitution are “the laws of Nature and Nature’s God” ordained?

I do agree that Our Constitution was does require interpretation by moral and knowledgeable people, but not necessarily by religious people. The other founding documents (such as the Declaration of Independence) are not the supreme law of the land; only the Constitution is.
