Municipal Court To Open As Part Of Warrant Sweep
The Tyler Municipal Court will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and March 3 for individuals to pay outstanding warrants on offenses including traffic and parking tickets and city ordinance violations, according to a press release.

More than 250 law enforcement agencies across Texas will participate in this effort to resolve outstanding warrants.

“Similar sweeps held in past years have been very effective,” Court Administrator Cam McCabe said. She added that in a concentrated amount of time the city has been able to clear several thousand warrants.

Some of the warrants are for offenses such as vehicle theft, driving while intoxicated, and domestic violence.

Affected persons are encouraged to contact the appropriate jurisdiction to resolve their cases voluntarily.

For assistance with resolving an outstanding warrant, contact the Tyler Municipal Court at 903-531-1266.
Warrants can also be paid online at www.cityoftyler.org under the “I Want To” menu at the top of the page. A kiosk in the lobby of the municipal court building is also available for credit card payments.
