Man Hit By Car While Crossing Loop
One man was injured after being struck by a car Thursday night.
According to a news release issued by the Tyler Police Department, officers were called to the 2200 block of WSW Loop 323 shortly after 6 p.m.

A 65-year-old man was struck by a 2006 Dodge Ram truck while crossing the loop from north to south, the release reads.
The man was taken to East Texas Medical Center with “serious but it appears non life-threatening injuries,” the release reads. A citation was not issued to the truck’s driver, the release reads.
Officers still are investigating the accident, according to the release.
