An upper-air disturbance will bring showers to East Texas today. There could be some thunderstorms this morning. The rain will end by tonight leaving behind a dry, chilly weekend. Temperatures will drop to near freezing Sunday morning. There will be another chance of showers Sunday night, but at this time, it appears temperatures will be above freezing at the onset of the rain. There will be a chance of showers with occasional thunderstorms Monday through Thursday. Temperatures will rise into the low 70s Tuesday and Wednesday.
