Hensarling To Meet With Vets
East Texas veterans have the opportunity to talk about their concerns with a local representative this week.
U.S. Rep. Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas, will field questions from retired troops at the Van Zandt County Veteran's Memorial Shop at 1:30 p.m. Friday, according to a news release issued by memorial staff.
Topics of discussion will include the Veteran's Affairs, TriCare and the Department of Defense budget, according to the release.
The memorial gift shop, where the discussion will occur, is at 1200 S. Trade Days Blvd., Suite 600.
