Buddy Wayne Johnson
Services for Mr. Buddy Wayne Johnson, age 76, of Lindale are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home chapel with Drs. Bob Roberts Sr. and Bob Roberts Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Sabine Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, in a Tyler hospital.
He was born on Jan. 3, 1936, in Lindale to B.R. and Juanita Penny Johnson and lived the majority of his life in Lindale. Mr. Johnson was a member of Lindale First Baptist Church and was retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Co. after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lee Johnson; daughters, Nita Ruth Johnson and Benji Johnson; brother, Ross Johnson; and sister, Barbara Nixon.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Ann Johnson of Lindale; children, Penni Jordan and husband Keith of Lindale, Niki Roberts and husband Dr. Bob Jr. of Fort Worth; Staci Wood and husband Randy of Lindale and Randy Jerden of Lindale; sister, Charlotte Garner and husband Ted of Terrell; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Justin Cowart, Stephen Bills, Ben Roberts, Josh Sens, Marcus Jerden and Jeremy Wood.
Memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, 75701.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
