REQUEST: I notice in my Tyler newspaper that we should consider “Being kind” to other people. I’ll give you an opportunity to do so, and you’ll feel better for having done it. Volunteer at American Cancer Society in Tyler to be a driver to take patients without transportation to Tyler Cancer Center for treatments. They need the volunteers (the Tyler area has only two volunteer drivers, including me) and you will be richly rewarded for having volunteered. Call 903-597-1348, and tell them you want to volunteer. You’ll never regret helping out someone in need.
