Teen Gets 20 Years For Killing Sister

A 16-year-old New Chapel Hill youth pleaded guilty this afternoon in Judge Jack Skeen Jr.'s courtroom to shooting his older sister in the face in September 2010.
Mark Nathaniel Anderson received a 20-year sentence, after he pleaded guilty to shooting his 19-year-old sister Amanda inside of the home they shared with their parents. Mark and Stacy Anderson on Sept. 15, 2010. Autopsy reports showed she had been shot in the head four times.
The prosecution recommended a 20-year sentence.
