Young Musician Of The Year Scholarship Audtions Set
Tyler Music Coterie will hold its Hambrick/Mueller Young Musician of the Year Scholarship auditions on March 3 at First United Methodist Church in Chandler.
An applicant must be a graduating high school senior who will be entering college as a music major and live within 65 miles of Tyler, the announcement said.
Applications are due by Feb. 18.
The winner will receive $1,200 and become eligible to receive a $500 per semester scholarship at The University of Texas at Tyler or $2,000 per year at Tyler Junior College.
The young musician of the year will be presented in recital on May 6 at First United Methodist Church in Chandler.
