Man Pleads Guilty To Defrauding Investors of $465,000
A Tyler man pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge John Love today to charges of wire fraud.

James Henry Hardee, 41, faces up to 20 years in prison on charges that he defrauded nine investors of ETRG investments in Tyler of $465,000.

The investors gave Hardee the money for the purpose of opening and operating a group of three fast food chicken restaurants in Arkansas, according to court documents.

Hardee pleaded guilty to taking the money to spend on personal mortgage and vehicle payments, documents stated.
