Texas Rose Festival To Host Morton Sunday
The Texas Rose Festival will host a lecture featuring Winn Morton, designer of the Texas Rose Festival costumes since 1982, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Rose Garden Center, 420 Rose Park Drive, Tyler.
Morton will explain the origination of the dress designs and their creation. He will also discuss his career and journey through more than 45 years as a costume designer for Broadway theater, Rose Festival and much more," TRF spokesperson Victoria Ashworth said.
Tickets are available for $7 and may be purchased at the Rose Museum or by calling 903-597-3130.
