Raiders Sweep Dual Matches
CORSICANA -- Robert E. Lee tennis started the season strong Friday with a sweep in their dual match against Corsicana and Midlothian.
Playing in triple-digit temperatures, Lee got past Corsicana 10-6 before using six girls victories to defeat Midlothian by the same score.
"I am very, very pleased with them considering on the boys side we are almost starting with a fresh team," said Lee coach Jessica Taylor. "The girls are the veterans and they worked hard this summer and I could tell on the court."
Lee will next be in action against Kilgore at 1 p.m. Thursday at the REL courts.
