Center To Host Disabilities Conference
The East Texas Center for Independent Living will host an informative conference, "Americans with Disabilities Act: What's It All About?" from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at 4713 Troup Highway.
This event is designed to inform local businesses and individuals with disabilities of their rights and responsibilities as outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Guest speakers will offer a day of presentations on topics including housing, transportation, legal matters, employment, and more as they relate to the Americans with Disabilities Act and new updates to this law.
