Apache Ladies Place Eighth At Nationals
DAYTONA, Fla. — Host Daytona State captured its second straight national championship in NJCAA women’s golf, while Tyler Junior College finished eighth on Thursday.
TJC sophomore Jacki Marshall, who has signed with Oklahoma, had her best round of the tournament with an even-par 72. She finished seventh at the LPGA International Golf Club.
The Apache Ladies had their best round as a team, closing with a 332. Jan Roberts, a freshman from Houston, contributed an 81 after shooting in the 90s the first three days.
