All Clear At Scene Of Gas Leak Near Elementary School

Jackson Elementary School, in Chapel Hill ISD, was evacuated this morning because of a gas leak.
Three students and one teacher were examined by emergency responders. One student was given oxygen, but no other treatment was necessary to anyone else.
Classes were back in session shortly after 11 a.m. CDT.
The gas leak happened when someone backed a vehicle into a gas line near the school. The fire department ordered the evacuation of the school as a precautionary measure.
