The fifth Tyler Football Classic is set for August 26-28 at T.K. Gorman's McCallum Stadium.
The Crusaders' home field, with a new grass turf among other upgrades, will play host to Tyler's three TAPPS schools to kick off the football season.
On Thursday, Aug. 26, Grace Community takes on Winnsboro at 7 p.m. The following day, Gorman and Winona take the field at 7:30 p.m. All Saints battles Carrollton Christian Academy at 7 p.m. that Saturday.
"We invite everyone to come out and watch some great football and see the new field and other stadium upgrades," said Crusader head coach and athletic director Rick Palmer in a press release.
"The pride and tradition of Tyler's oldest private school football venue will create a wonderful atmosphere to kick off the season for these schools."
The classic, rotationally hosted by the three Tyler TAPPS schools, is sponsored by Azalea Orthopedics and Texas Spine and Joint Hospital. Next year's edition will also be played at McCallum stadium.
