'Musical Visions' Art Exhibit Opens Thursday
Tyler’s Gallery Main Street will open its fourth juried art exhibit “Musical Visions” with a reception Thursday.
The public is invited to the exhibit and reception, held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Gallery Main Street, 110 W. Erwin St. The exhibit will include two- and three-dimensional work.
“This show is about the artists’ interpretations of music in all its forms and variations,” Tyler Main Street Director Beverly Abell said in a prepared statement. “With each jury and exhibit cycle, the number of entries increases and the work of our exhibit jury becomes increasingly difficult. This means that the public enjoys art of a high level of accomplishment.”
Gallery Main Street is a project of the Tyler Main Street Department and the Downtown Tyler Arts Coalition, an all-volunteer organization of artists.
The deadline for entering the next art show, “In Focus: a Macro World,” will be Monday. For more information, visit: www.downtowntylerarts.com or call 903-593-6905.
